Butter Rum Sauce

|Packed brown sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||3 Tablespoon|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Evaporated milk||5 1⁄3 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Light corn syrup||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Coarsely chopped salted mixed nuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Rum flavoring||2 Teaspoon|
|Vanilla ice cream/Angel cake slices||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
In heavy saucepan combine brown sugar, flour, and salt; stir in water.
Stir in evaporated milk and corn syrup.
Cook, stirring constantly, till thickened.
Stir in nuts, butter or margarine, and rum flavoring.
