Butter Rum Sauce

Ingredients
  Packed brown sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  All purpose flour 3 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Evaporated milk 5 1⁄3 Ounce (1 Can)
  Light corn syrup 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Coarsely chopped salted mixed nuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Rum flavoring 2 Teaspoon
  Vanilla ice cream/Angel cake slices 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

In heavy saucepan combine brown sugar, flour, and salt; stir in water.
Stir in evaporated milk and corn syrup.
Cook, stirring constantly, till thickened.
Stir in nuts, butter or margarine, and rum flavoring.
