Rum Flavored Pots De CrÃ¨me
|Half and half||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Dark rum||2 Tablespoon|
|Egg yolks||6 , slightly beaten|
|Semi sweet chocolate||8 Ounce (8 Squares, 1 Ounce Each)|
|Slivered almonds||1 Tablespoon, toasted|
|Whipped cream||1 Tablespoon|
Combine chocolate, half-and-half, and sugar in top of a double boiler; bring water to a boil.
Reduce heat; cook until chocolate melts.
Gradually stir about one-fourth of chocolate mixture into yolks; add to remaining chocolate mixture, stirring well.
Stir in dark rum.
Pour into serving dishes.
Chill at least 8 hours.
Garnish with whipped cream and almonds.
