Cajun Dry Rub

A Dry Rub is a seasoning blend of many spices that can be used on pork, beef, or chicken.
  Chili powder 1 Tablespoon
  Garlic powder 1 Tablespoon
  Granulated onion powder 1 Tablespoon
  Cayenne pepper 1 Teaspoon
  Dry mustard 1 Teaspoon, ground
  Bay leaves 1 Teaspoon, ground
  Black pepper 1 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 Tablespoon

1. In a bowl add chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, dry mustard, bay leaves, black pepper, sugar, salt and mix them up well.

2. This rub can be used to apply to the meat. Spray lightly with canola oil to help the Dry Rub stick or put on dry and rub in. Be sure to apply the Dry Rub seasoning on all sides.
