Homemade Roll

A homemade roll refers to a bread roll preparation which is made of flour, eggs, butter, sugar, yeast, salt and water. The homemade roll recipe varies from household to household. In order to prepare a homemade roll, the ingredients are gradually mixed one after the other and a soft dough is formed. Once properly mixed, the dough is kept for rising, after which it is divided into individual bread rolls and baked in a pre-heated oven until done. Homemade rolls have a crust on the outside whilst being soft on the inside. The addition of yeast makes the dough rise, which gives a fluffy and soft feel to the rolls. The homemade rolls are slightly buttered prior to serving, in order to enhance the flavor.
