|Baking powder||4 Teaspoon|
|All purpose flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Milk||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Brown sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Sift together flour, baking powder and salt; add butter and cut in well.
Add milk and mix until it is a soft dough.
Place on floured board and roll out to 3/4 inch thickness.
Spread with some soft butter or margarine, sprinkle with 1/2 cup brown sugar and cinnamon.
Roll and slice into about 1 inch slices.
In a greased round cake tin, spread a mixture of: 1/4 cup butter or margarine and 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar .
Arrange the slices on top, cut side down.
Bake in a hot oven 450F for 15 to 20 minutes.
Turn out on plate and serve hot
