|Milk||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Ground fully cooked ham||10 Ounce (2 Cups)|
|Instant minced onion||1 Teaspoon|
|Dry mustard||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Fine dry bread crumbs||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
|Fat||2 Cup (32 tbs) (For Deep Frying)|
|Frozen peas in cream sauce||8 Ounce (1 Package)|
In saucepan melt butter; blend in flour.
Add milk; cook and stir till thickened and bubbly.
Remove from heat; stir in ham, onion, and dry mustard.
Cover; refrigerate up to 24 hours.
Shape ham mixture into 8 to 10 balls.
Roll in crumbs.
Shape into cones, handling lightly.
Combine egg and 2 tablespoons water.
Dip ham cones into egg mixture.
Roll in crumbs again.
Fry in deep hot fat (375Â°) till heated through, about 2 minutes.
Meanwhile, cook peas according to package directions.
Serve over croquettes.
