Rich Dinner Rolls

Ingredients
  Scalded milk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Butter 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Warm water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Compressed yeast/Granular yeast 1⁄4 Ounce (1 Package)
  Sifted flour 3 Cup (48 tbs)
Directions

Combine milk, butter, sugar and salt.
Add water.
Then add yeast (dissolved according to package directions).
Mix well.
Blend in the egg.
Gradually add flour.
Mix until dough is well blended and soft.
Shape dough into rolls on a well floured board.
If dough is to be chilled, place in a greased bowl, cover and store in refrigerator at least 2 hours.
Remove.
Let rise about 1 1/2 to 2 hours in a warm place.
For unchilled dough, let rise in a warm place until double in bulk.
Bake in a 350° to 400° oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until done
