Round Steak Roll Ups
|Round steak slices||1 1⁄2 Pound|
|Carrots||2 Medium, quartered|
|Dry seasoned bread stuffing||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Flour||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Canned cream of mushroom soup||10 1⁄2 Ounce|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Worcestershire sauce||1 Tablespoon|
|Steak sauce||1 Tablespoon, bottled|
Cut steak into 4 rectangular pieces 1/4 inch thick.
Place carrots, 2 onions and 1/4 cup stuffing mix on each piece of meat.
Roll up; secure with toothpicks.
Mix together flour, salt and pepper; dredge meat in seasoned flour.
In skillet brown meat in hot fat.
Combine soup, water, Worcestershire and steak sauces; pour over meat in skillet.
Cover; simmer 1 hour until done.
May also be baked 1 hour at 350 degrees in covered 1 1/4-quart casserole.
