Hearty Steak Roll Ups
|Bacon slices||3 , cooked and crumbled|
|Onion||1 Medium, chopped|
|Mushrooms||4 Ounce, coarsely chopped (Fresh Or Canned)|
|Tomato||1 , peeled and chopped|
|Parsley leaves||2 Tablespoon, chopped (Fresh)|
|Beef steaks||16 Ounce, very thinly sliced beef round (4 Steaks Of 4 Ounce -Sandwich)|
|Vegetable oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Onion||1 , chopped|
|Tomato paste||2 Tablespoon|
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||2 Tablespoon, mixed with cold water to a smooth paste|
|Cold water||2 Tablespoon|
|Heavy cream/Sour cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Combine filling ingredients.
Place steaks on a flat surface, season lightly with salt and pepper, and place 1/4 of the filling mixture on each.
Roll up, jelly-roll fashion, and fasten with string.
Brown rolls lightly in hot oil and place in slow cooker.
Add onion, tomato paste, and water.
Cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours.
Remove beef rolls to a warm platter.
Pour accumulated gravy into a saucepan, add flour water paste and bring to boil, stirring constantly until thickened.
Stir in cream and serve at once over hot beef rolls.
