Prawn (Shrimp) Cutlets

Prawn (Shrimp) Cutlets are easy to make and extremely tasty.These yummy cutlets that one just cant get enough of are always in demand at my home. Try the Prawn (Shrimp) Cutlets yourself and then you will understand why.
Ingredients
  Shrimp 4
  Sherry 1 Tablespoon
  Egg 1
  Cornstarch 2 Tablespoon
  Fat 150 Milliliter
Directions

Hold the prawns (shrimp) firmly by the tail and remove the rest of the shell, leaving the tail piece intact.
Split the prawns (shrimp) in half lengthways almost to the tail and remove the intestinal cord.
Flatten the prawns (shrimp) to look like cutlets.
Sprinkle with sherry.
Beat the egg and dip the cutlets in it, then in the cornflour (cornstarch).
Do this twice.
Fry the cutlets in deep fat for 2-3 minutes.
Drain and serve plain or with a sweet and sour sauce.
