Sweet Roll Bites
|Refrigerated crescent rolls||8 Ounce|
|Melted butter||2 Tablespoon|
|Brown sugar||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Chopped walnuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sifted icing sugar||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Light cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Heat oven to 400 degrees.
Grease a 13 X 9'2 X 2-inch pan thoroughly.
Open package of crescent rolls and unroll each half of dough but do not separate into pieces.
Roll each half of dough on a floured board into a rectangle 14 X 6 inches (roll so holes marking place to separate dough for rolls are closed).
Brush each rectangle with some of butter.
Combine brown sugar and nutmeg and sprinkle half over each rectangle of dough.
Sprinkle each with half of nuts.
Roll each rectangle up from one wide side.
Seal open side by pinching it into the roll well.
Cut into 1/2-inch slices and put, cut sides down, in prepared baking pan.
Drizzle remaining melted butter over.
Bake about 15 minutes or until well browned.
Remove from pan.
Combine icing sugar and enough cream to make a rather thin icing that will run from the tip of a spoon.
Drizzle this mixture in a thin stream over the rolls.
