Roll dough to 1/8-inch thickness, forming into oblong about 9 inches wide.
Spread dough with softened butter or margarine.
Cut 6 long strips about 1 1/2 inches wide.
Stack strips on top of one another, and cut straight down through all layers at about 1-inch intervals.
Place each 1-inch section, cut side down, in greased muffin cups, cover and let rise; bake at 375Ã‚Â° F. 15-20 minutes.
