Just in time for 4th of July, low carb corn dogs!
Carbqick | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Paprika | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Garlic powder | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Pop corn meal | 3 Tablespoon | |
Truvia/Sweetner | 2 Teaspoon | |
Egg | 1 Large , beaten | |
Half and half | 3/4 Cup (12 tbs) | |
Beef frankfurters | 7 , cut in half |
GETTING READY
1. In a large bowl,combine powdered popping corn, carbqick, paprika, garlic powder, truvia, egg, half and half. Mix well to form a thick batter.
2. Cut sausages into half and arrange on a skewer.
MAKING
3. Heat oil in a pan.
4. Coat sausages with the batter and deep fry.
5. Fry till corn dogs turn golden brown. Remove from the pan.
SERVING
6. Serve corn hot dogs with mustard sauce.
TIPS
Keep the batter in a mug, so, it will be convenient to coat the hot dog.
