Place turkey roll in roasting pan.
Add about 1/4 inch water to pan and cover.
Roast, covered, in preheated moderate oven (350°F.) to an internal temperature of 170°F.
on meat thermometer.
This will take 2 1/2 to 3 1/4 hours.
Half an hour before the roast is done, pour barbecue sauce over turkey.
Baste several times with liquid in pan.
Makes 10 to 12 servings.
