Viennese Chocolate Rolls

Ingredients
  Ground blanched almonds 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Cooking chocolate 1 Cup (16 tbs), grated (About 1 1/2 Packages, 4 Ounces Each)
  Egg 1
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Diced citron 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Almonds 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), blanched and slivered
  Fine granulated sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (White Or Colored)
Directions

Combine ground almonds and chocolate.
Beat egg and sugar until fluffy.
Add to almond-chocolate mixture together with citron and slivered almonds.
Heat mixture in top part of double boiler over hot water until warm, stirring constantly until well blended.
Cool.
Lightly spread a baking board or a sheet of wax paper with sugar.
Put mixture on it and, between sugared hands, shape into a sausage about 11 inches long.
Roll in fine sugar.
Dry in cool place overnight.
To serve, cut into thin slices.
