Granary Rolls

Ingredients
  Granary bread rolls 2 Small
  Sardines in olive oil 4 1⁄4 Ounce (1 Can / 120 Gram)
  Green lettuce leaves 4 (Crisp)
  Beef tomato 1 , sliced
  Lemon 1⁄2 , juiced
  Salt To Taste
  Black pepper To Taste
Directions

1. Slice the bread rolls in half cross-ways using a sharp knife. Drain off the oil from the sardines into a small bowl, then brush the cut surfaces of the rolls with a small amount of the oil.
2. Cut or break the sardines into small pieces, then fill each roll with a lettuce leaf, some sliced tomato and pieces of sardine, sprinkling the filling with a little lemon juice, and salt and pepper to taste.
3. Sandwich the rolls back together and press the lids down lightly with your hand. Serve at once.
