Veal Rolls With Wine

Ingredients
  Veal pieces 4 (Cutlets May Be Used)
  Bacon slices 4
  Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
  Flour 1 Cup (16 tbs) (For Dusting)
  Grated cheese 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Butter 2 Tablespoon
  Onion 1 Large, chopped
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), crushed
  Flour 2 Tablespoon
  White wine 250 Milliliter (1 Cup)
  Capers/Thyme 1 Tablespoon
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

1. Flatten the veal steaks. Rub each piece of meat with lemon juice and roll in a mixture of the flour and grated cheese.
2. Place each steak on a slice of bacon and roll up, bacon on the outside. Secure with a toothpick.
3. Melt the butter in a frying pan and brown onion and garlic, remove and put aside the onion and in the same pan brown the veal rolls on all sides. Place in a casserole.
4. Blend 2 dessertspoons flour in the pan and brown lightly, add the wine and stir until it is smooth and boils. Return the onion and garlic to the pan and mix in 1 tablespoon of capers or thyme. Pour over the veal rolls, cover and bake in a moderate oven 350°F (180°C) for 1 hour.
