Sausage Meat Roll

Ingredients
  Self rising flour 6 Ounce
  Salt 1 Pinch
  Suet water 3 Ounce, shredded
  Sausage meat 12 Ounce
  Apples 2 , peeled, cored and chopped
  Onions 2 , chopped
  Seasoning To Taste
  Dried sage 1 Teaspoon
  Tomato slices 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Sieve the flour and salt.
Add suet and enough water to make a rolling consistency.
Roll into an oblong shape.
Mix the sausage meat with the apples, onions, seasoning and sage.
Spread over the suet crust, damp edges and roll like a Swiss roll.
Lift on to a baking tray.
Bake in a moderate oven (375°F - Gas Mark 4) for 1 hour. (Lower heat after 30 minutes if pastry becomes too brown).
Serve hot or cold garnished with tomato slices.
