Asparagus Toast Rolls
|Thin bread slices||8 (Fresh)|
|Melted butter/Margarine||4 Tablespoon|
|Grated cheese||4 Tablespoon|
|Asparagus tips||8 (Canned / Cooked)|
|Hot white sauce||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
1. Start oven, set at 400° F., or Moderately Hot. Rub a shallow baking dish with butter or margarine.
2. Trim the crusts from the bread. Brush the slices on 1 side with melted butter, sprinkle with grated cheese. Place an asparagus tip on each slice. Roll up, fasten with tooth picks.
3. Place the rolls in the baking dish. Brush with the remaining butter. Bake 5 to 8 minutes or until the bread is lightly browned.
