Beef Biscuit Roll
|Chopped onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped green pepper||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Ground beef||1 Pound|
|Biscuit dough||1 Cup (16 tbs) (1 Recipe)|
Brown the onion, green pepper and beef in a small amount of fat in a frying pan, then add salt and pepper.
Roll out dough, 1/4 inch thick, then spread with beef mixture.
Roll as for jelly roll and chill.
Cut in 1 1/2-inch slices.
Place in greased pan, cut side up, and brush with melted butter.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes at 450 degrees.
Serve with brown gravy, cheese sauce or creamed peas.
