Deviled Ham And Gruyere Roll Ups
|Deviled ham/Pate||3⁄4 Can (7.5 oz) (1 small can)|
|Chopped cooked chicken||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Gruyere cheese wedges||2 , grated (triangles)|
|Dry mustard||1 Pinch|
|Mayonnaise||1 Tablespoon (adjust quantity as needed)|
|Bread slices||6 , trimmed (white or brown)|
|Cress||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (adjust quantity as needed)|
Mix ham, chicken, cheese and mustard together; add just enough mayonnaise to moisten.
Cover the bread slices evenly to the edges with the mixture, and then cut slices diagonally.
Arrange a tiny bunch of cress in the centre of each triangle and overlap the opposite corners.
Secure with toothpicks and top each pick with a stuffed olive, melon ball or watermelon pickle.
