Caramel Orange Rolls
|Firmly packed brown sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Grated orange rind||1 Teaspoon|
|Orange juice||1 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|Margarine/Any brand of your choice||1 Tablespoon, melted|
|Brown and serve rolls/Dinner rolls||12|
Preheat oven to 400° F.
In a bowl, combine sugar, orange rind, orange juice, mace and margarine.
Stir to mix well.
Spread over bottom of ungreased shallow pan.
Place rolls upside down over sugar mixture.
Bake 15 minutes.
Remove from oven.
Let rolls stand in pan 1 minute, or until syrup thickens.
Invert pan and remove bread quickly so caramel-orange topping remains on top of rolls.
