  Flour 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Sugar 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Butter 3 Tablespoon
  Boiling water 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Milk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Fresh yeast/Dry yeast 2 Teaspoon

Dissolve yeast in some lukewarm water.
Combine sugar, salt and butter in a large bowl.
Add boiling water.
Stir until sugar is dissolved.
Cool to lukewarm by adding 1/2 cup milk.
Add yeast and mix well.
Blend in flour and mix thoroughly until the dough is smooth.
Place dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp towel and lid.
Let rise in warm place until double in bulk, (about one hour).
Turn out dough on a lightly floured board and knead for two minutes.
Put dough and fit into greased 12 inch x 8 inch x 2 inch pan.
Cut crosswise at one inch intervals with greased knife.
Then cut lengthwise down centre of dough.
Using a little flour for dusting, roll small pieces of dough into sticks, 1/2 inch in diameter.
Tie each stick into a loose knot.
Place on a greased baking sheet.
Cover with damp towel and let rise for 45 minutes more.
Bake in hot oven (210°C) for 15 to 20 minutes.
