Baked Rolls With Meatloaf
|Long sandwich rolls||2|
|Butter||1 Tablespoon (1 Scant Tablespoon)|
|Ground meat||1⁄2 Pound|
|Freshly ground black pepper||1 Pinch|
|Young gouda cheese||4 Ounce|
|Gouda cheese slice||1 1⁄2 Ounce (2 Slices)|
Preheat the oven to 225°.
Cut the rolls in half horizontally and spread with the butter.
Peel and dice the onion.
Mix the ground meat with the egg, crumbs and diced onion, and season with the salt, pepper and paprika.
Dice the young Gouda, mix with the meat and spread thickly on the roll halves.
Wash, dry and slice the tomatoes and the cucumber.
Lay slices of each on the meat mixture.
Place the rolls on a baking pan, spread with parchment paper and bake 15 minutes.
Cut the cheese slices into 1/2-inch strips.
Lay them on the rolls and bake another 3 to 5 minutes.
