Perfect Bread Rolls

Ingredients
  Flour 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Yeast 1
  Lukewarm water 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Oil 2 Tablespoon
  Egg 1 , beaten
  Whole wheat flour 2 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1 Pinch
Directions

Preheat oven to 400 °F (205 °C).
In a bowl, sift together flour, salt and 2 tsp (10 mL) sugar.
In a large bowl, dissolve yeast and remaining sugar in lukewarm water.
Wait 10 minutes.
Add sifted ingredients all at once.
Mix until smooth.
Flour a clean, even surface.
Knead dough 5 minutes or so.
In a stainless steel bowl, pour oil.
Add dough.
Roll dough in oil to prevent drying.
Cover with wax paper.
Let rise 1 hour in a warm, humid place.
Punch down dough.
Shape into 9 small balls.
Place on an oiled baking sheet, 2 inches (5 cm) apart.
Let rise in a warm, humid place until dough doubles in size.
Brush with beaten egg.
Sprinkle with whole wheat flour.
Bake in oven 10 minutes or so.
