Popular Banana Ricotta Recipe Variations

  • Banana Ricotta Muffins with Walnuts – This dessert is prepared in the same way as the banana bread, but its texture is enriched by the addition of ricotta cheese. This muffin resembles a cake more than bread.

    Ingredients – Large and mashed bananas, milk or cream, ricotta, vanilla, canola oil, flour, sugar, light brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt are used in the preparation of muffins. Light brown sugar, walnuts, and salt are used for topping the muffins.

  • Banana and Ricotta Hot Cakes - These hotcakes are good to be served during the breakfast. They are very simple to prepare and are considered best for beginning a day.

    Ingredients – Corn flour, boiling water, plain flour, castor sugar, baking powder, ground cinnamon, milk, eggs, butter, ricotta cheese, firm bananas, berries, honey and water are required for making this hot cake.
