Bacska Meat In Rice

Ingredients
  Pork shoulder 1 1⁄2 Pound
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Lard 5 Ounce
  Paprika 1 Teaspoon
  Onions 3 1⁄2 Ounce
  Lecso 1⁄2 Pound
  Rice 3⁄4 Pound
Directions

Cut the meat into cubes.
Fry the finely chopped onions in 3 oz. lard, till golden yellow, add the paprika and pour on a little water.
After boiling a short time, add the meat and cook for 50 mins.
Pour on a little water while cooking, if necessary.
Fry the rice lightly in 2 1/2 oz. lard, add it to the meat together with the lecso, add twice the amount of rice, in water, then cover with lid, and cook slowly, stirring occasionally till tender.
In the season add 3 green paprikas and 2 tomatoes in place of lecso.
