Basic Fried Oven Cooked Rice
|Long grain rice||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Onion||1 Small, finely chopped|
|Basic chicken stock||2 Cup (32 tbs), hot|
Melt butter in frying pan.
Add rice and onion; cook over medium heat about 5 minutes or until golden, stirring frequently.
Turn rice mixture into l'/i-quart casserole.
Stir in stock; cover.
Bake in preheated 425 Â°F oven 25 minutes, until rice is tender and stock is absorbed.
