Garlic Shrimp With Rice
|Onion||1 , chopped|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm)|
|Raw rice||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Boiling water||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)|
|Salt||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Green pepper||1⁄2 , minced|
|Shrimp||1 Pound (Shelled Deveined)|
|Chili powder||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
Brown onion and garlic in oil in skillet.
Remove and discard garlic; add rice.
Cook for 3 minutes, stirring; add water and salt.
Simmer for 10 minutes; add green pepper and shrimp.
Sprinkle with chili powder; cover.
Simmer for 20 minutes, or until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender
