Wild Rice With Shallots And Green Peppers

Ingredients
  Wild rice 1⁄2 Pound (225 Grams Or 1 Cup)
  Water 1 3⁄4 Pint (1 Liter Or 4 Cups)
  Chicken stock cube 1
  Salt 1 Pinch
  Butter 2 Ounce (50 Gram Or 1/4 Cup)
  Shallots 2 Small, finely chopped
  Green pepper 1⁄2 Small, chopped
  Celery stick 1 , chopped
  Walnuts 2 Ounce, chopped (50 Gram Or 1/2 Cup)
  Freshly ground black pepper To Taste
Directions

1 Soak the wild rice in water overnight, drain and wash well 2 Put the water, stock cube and salt in a saucepan, bring to the boil and add the rice.
Cook for about 40 minutes until tender.
3 Melt the butter and saute the shallots, green pepper and celery for 3 minutes.
4 Add the walnuts, pepper and wild rice and serve as a dressing for game.
