Brown Rice

Its very easy to cook rice. All you need is right mix of the ingredients and right directions to follow. Try making some brown rice using these simple steps.
Ingredients
  Long grain brown rice 2 Cup (32 tbs), washed 2 times
  Cold water 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Butter 1 Tablespoon
  Salt To Taste
Directions

1. Measure two cups of rice, add plenty water and wash the rice 2 times, drain.
2. Place the rice in a sauce pot, add cold salt water, over medium high heat bring to a simmer, simmer for approximately 40 minutes, until the rice is tender.

OMG! What a waste! He is wasting so much water just doing that, the ratio is 1 cup rice to 3 cups of water, not put some in and come back to see if its done. Rice and pasta are 2 different things!

wasting water doesnt worry me - its the nutrients in the water that does worry me. if done right the rice sucks up all water and the nutrients stay in. cheers.
