this recipe for boiled rice is super easy and simple. Boiled is a staple in indian meals and can be flavored with spices. This recipe for boiled rice is prepared with ragrant basmati rice and can be cooked in the microwave.
  Basmati rice 400 Gram
  Water 650 Milliliter
  Oil 2 Teaspoon

Wash & soak the rice in water in water for half an hour.
Drain & keep aside.
Place the rice in a 2 litre deep cassarole add water, salt (optional) & oil.
Mix and microwave, partially covered on 100% power for 12-14 min.
Stir once during cooking.
Allow to stand covered with an aluminium foil or lid for 10 min.before serving.
(Oil added to rice will prevent rice from being split over)
