Green And Gold Rice Ring
|Onion||1 Medium, quartered|
|Carrot cubes||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Green pepper||1 , cut into pieces|
|Canned pimientos||4 Ounce|
|Canned beef consomme||10 1⁄2 Ounce|
|Water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Quick cooking rice||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
Butter a 1 1/2 quart ring mold.
Put all ingredients except butter and rice into Osterizer container.
Cover and blender chop vegetables.
Empty into saucepan, add butter, bring to a boil and add rice.
Cover saucepan, remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes.
Pack firmly into prepared mold, then unmold and serve immediately.
