|Uncooked long grain white rice||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Place rice and water or broth in a 3-quart microwave-safe casserole.
Cook on high for 4 to 7 minutes until the liquid boils.
Cook on medium for 10 minutes or until all the liquid is absorbed.
Let stand, covered, for 5 minutes.
Note: When reheating long-grain rice, cover and cook on high for 1 to 6 minutes until heated through.
Stir every minute.
