Thanksgiving Rice

Thanksgiving Rice is a sumptuous meal in itself. I often serve this on thanksgiving dinners at home. Try this brilliant recipe for Thanksgiving Rice.
Ingredients
  Uncooked rice 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Country sausage 1 Pound
  Chopped celery 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Onions 2 Medium, chopped
  Green pepper 1 , diced
  Egg 1 , beaten
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Boil rice first; set it aside in a colander.
Use a large skillet for this.
Cook country sausage thoroughly.
It will draw enough fat to saute the celery, onions, and green pepper.
When vegetables are tanned, not brown, add rice to mixture; stir well about 3 minutes.
Remove to your largest bowl.
Add beaten egg and seasonings; mix well.
Put rice in well-greased casseroles for serving or freezing.
Reheat in oven just enough so that rice is hot.
