Savory Mixed Rice
|Uncooked brown rice||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Uncooked wild rice||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Stalk celery||1 Medium, about 1/2 cup|
|Onion||1 Medium, about 1/2 cup|
|Chicken broth||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Ground sage||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Canned mushroom||4 Ounce, including stems and pieces|
|Plain yoghurt||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Snipped parsley||2 Tablespoon|
Cook and stir brown rice, wild rice, celery and onion in margarine in 2-quart saucepan over medium heat until onion is tender, about 6 minutes.
Stir in broth, salt, sage and mushrooms.
Heat to boiling; reduce heat.
Cover and simmer until rice is tender, about 1 hour.
Stir in yogurt and parslev.
