Ingredients
  Long grain rice 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Water 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)
  Butter 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

GETTING READY
1)Clean, wash and soak the rice for about 30 minutes.

MAKING
1)Take a saucepan, add rice and water to it. Bring to a boil.
2)Cover it and let it cook for about 10-15 minutes on medium heat.
3)Turn off heat and drain excess water. Wash rice to remove starch.
4)In a saucepan melt butter and add rice. Stir for 2 minutes.
5)Cover the pan and let it cook for 5 minutes on low heat.

SERVING
6)Serve steamed plain rice with dal or curry.
