Rice in the Microwave
|Long grain rice||6 Ounce|
1) In a deep microwavable container, place together rice, water, butter and salt.
2) Put the lid on and cook for 14 minutes.
3) Leave to stand for 5 minutes.
4) Fluff up the rice with a fork.
5) Serve hot with desired dish.
If the rice is not quite cooked after standing, return the covered container to the microwave oven and cook for a further few minutes.
