|Long grain rice||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Scallions||8 , sauteed and chopped|
|Onion/Shallots||1 Small, minced|
1)Preheat the oven to 300 degrees.
2)In a large pot of 8 quarts,bring water to boil.It should be a large quantity of water.
4)Slowly add rice and boil.
5)Stir once, then boil rapidly for 12 minutes.
6)Pick a colander and drain the rice. Then wash with cold water.
7)Melt butter in a 4 quart casserole dish.
8)Add scallions and onions.
9)Add the drained rice to the dish and cover. Put into warm oven for 10-15 minutes.
