Uncle Ben's Wild Rice and Herb Salad with Toasted Pecans
|Long grain and wild rice||3 (3 packages, Uncle Bens)|
|Chopped pecans||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Green onions||9 , chopped|
|Chopped parsley||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Celery ribs||6 , finely diced|
|Dried thyme||1 Tablespoon|
|Dried marjoram||1 Tablespoon|
|Olive oil||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||3 Tablespoon|
1. Make rice according to the package directions and chill.
2. Arrange pecans on baking sheet and toast it at 325°F 15 minutes.
3. In a bowl and combine all ingredients except pecans and blend well.
