Broccoli And Rice
|Rice||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sharp cheddar cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Milk||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Cream of chicken soup||1 Can (10 oz)|
|Frozen chopped broccoli||10 Ounce|
1)In a saucepan, cook rice in 2 1/2 cups boiling salted water until tender.
2)In a pan, heat oil and brown onion.
3)Add cheese, milk, salt and soup. Heat until cheese melts. Keep stirring.
4)Take a greased casserole and put rice in it.
5)Cook broccoli as per package directions until partially done and drain.
6)Place it over rice and pour soup mixture.
7)Top with mushrooms and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
8)Serve broccoli and rice hot.
