Fluffy White Rice
|Long grain white rice||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
1. In heavy, medium-sized saucepan with tight- fitting cover, combine 3 cups cold water with the rice, salt and butter and bring to boiling, uncovered.
2. Then reduce heat and simmer, covered for 15 to 20 minutes until rice is tender and water is absorbed.
3. Fluff up with fork, garnish as desired and serve.
