Ingredients
  Vegetable oil 2 Teaspoon
  Diced onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), diced
  Bay leaf 1
  Garlic 1⁄2 Teaspoon, minced
  Minced fresh garlic 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Marjoram leaves 1⁄2 Teaspoon, crushed
  Crushed marjoram leaves 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Hot sauce 4 Drop
  Ground red pepper 1 Dash
  Red pepper 1 , ground
  Canned black-eyed peas 3 Ounce, drained
  Rice 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), cooked
  Cooked enriched rice 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Bacon bits 1 Tablespoon
  Imitation bacon bits 1 Tablespoon
Directions

MAKING
1. In a 9-inch nonstick skillet, pour in the oil
2. Heat the oil and then add in the onions and seasonings
3. Cook till the onions are translucent and cooked through
4. Add the peas, rice and bacon bits to the mixture and cook till the mixture is completely cooked through
5. Remove the bay leaf before serving

SERVING
6. Serve hot immediately
