Old-Fashioned Fluffy White Rice

Ingredients
  Salt 1 Tablespoon
  Raw long-grain white rice 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Butter 2 Tablespoon
Directions

In large saucepan over high heat, bring to boiling 2 quarts cold water and the salt.
Slowly add rice; boil, uncovered, about 20 minutes, or until rice is tender.
Drain well.
Fluff up with fork; add butter.
Makes 4 cups.
