Dilled Green Rice
|Long grain rice/Japanese-style rice||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Unsalted butter||6 Tablespoon, melted (3/4 Stick)|
|Dill||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), finely chopped|
|Parsley||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), finely chopped|
1) In a large pot,cook rice in lightly salted boiling water until just cooked through and fluffy.
2) Check the taste after 10 minutes and ensure that it is not overcooked.
3) Drain the rice.
4)To serve the rice immediately, put it in a dish and add melted butter to it.
5)Now add required salt and pepper, herbs and scallions.
6)Toss well to combine all the ingredients.
7)If planning to serve the rice later, wash the rice with cold water, drain well, and put aside.
8) In a large skillet,stir in butter until melted,add the rice and scallions, and season with salt and pepper and herbs.
9) Toss well and cook until rice is warm.
10) Serve hot.
