Ingredients
  Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Vegetable oil 2 Tablespoon
  Chicken parts 3 Pound
  Canned tomatoes 19 Ounce, chopped (1 Can, 1 Pound 3 Ounce)
  Chicken broth 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sliced onion 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Parsley 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), chopped
  Salt 2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Bay leaf 1
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), peeled and minced
  Uncooked rice 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)
  Frozen peas 10 Ounce (1 Package)
Directions

MAKING
1. In a Dutch oven or heavy saucepan, heat oil and margarine; add chicken and allow to brown well
2. Add tomatoes, onion, chicken broth, parsley, pepper, salt, garlic and bay leaf and cook over a low flame for almost hal an hour
3. Add rice and cook another ten minutes, stirring it around a bit; add peas and cook till soft adn all the liquid is absorbed

SERVING
4. Serve a appropriate
