Herbed Wild Rice Hot Dish

Ingredients
  Wild rice 2 Cup (32 tbs), uncooked
  Slivered almonds 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Chopped onions 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Chopped celery 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Canned mushrooms 12 Ounce, drained (1 Can)
  Cut up chicken 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Chicken broth 6 Cup (96 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Garlic powder 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Parsley 1 Tablespoon
Directions

GETTING READY
1) Wash and drain rice.

MAKING
2) In a slow cooker, combine all the ingredients and mix well.
3) Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until rice is done.

SERVING
4) Serve with side dish.
