Seasoned Rice Ring
|Water||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Quick cooking rice||2 2⁄3 Cup (42.67 tbs)|
1) In a deep skillet, dissolve salt in the water and bring to a boil.
2) To this, add rice.
3) Cover and remove from heat.
4) Let rice stand for 5 minutes.
5) With a fork, fluff the rice.
6) Stir in margarine and pimiento.
7) Pack the rice mixture firmly into a well-oiled 9-inch ring mold.
8) Cover and allow to stand several minutes.
9) Invert onto a serving plate and serve hot.
