Almond Rice

Ingredients
  Rice 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Onion 1
  Unsalted butter 2 Tablespoon
  Raisins 3 Tablespoon
  Chicken stock 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Toasted sliced almonds 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Parsley 1 Tablespoon, chopped
Directions

GETTING READY
1) Peel and chop onion.

MAKING
2) Take a saucepan, melt butter, and saute onion.
3) Cover and cook until soft.
4) Toss the rice in butter and onion.
5) Stir raisins and then add hot stock.
6) Sprinkle salt, cover pan, and let it simmer for 15-20 minutes or until tender.
7) Take a fork, fluff the rice, and sprinkle almonds.
8) Take a hot serving dish and spoon the mixture.

SERVING
9) Sprinkle parsley and serve.
