Chicken with Rice
|Chicken||4 Pound, disjointed|
|Boiling water||2 Quart|
|Onion||1 Small, chopped|
|Carrots||3 , chopped|
1) In a kettle put chicken, water and salt and cook ov er low heat.
2) Add parsley, bay leaf, onion and carrots and cook over low heat.
3) Follow package directions to cook the rice. Drain and keep aside.
4) Put to the chicken mixture and bring to boiling point.
5) Serve hot in a plate.
You can remove chicken from kettle before adding rice and browned in butter.
